ORGANIC CHICKPEAS

These legumes are cultivated organically, without the use of pesticides or synthesized fertilizers. Crop rotation takes place, alternating the legumes with cereals such as spelt and wheat. Seeds are sowed in Spring, followed by hoeing. When the legumes have ripened they are mechanically harvested and threshed. They are then cleaned and packaged, ready to sell. Legumes have been a typical product in the Pesaro - Urbino province since time immemorial. These organic chickpeas are ideal for preparing soup.

INGREDIENTS: Borlotti beans
